Edmonton Eskimos linebacker Rod Davis was fined an undisclosed amount on Wednesday by the Canadian Football League.
Davis was fined for a helmet-to-helmet hit on Blue Bombers quarterback Buck Pierce in Edmonton's 24-10 win over Winnipeg last Saturday.
The CFL does not disclose the amount of player fines. The maximum fine the league may levy against a player is half of a game cheque, according to the CFL's collective bargaining agreement.
