Pair of Blue Bombers among 3 players fined by CFL

The CFL fined Winnipeg offensive lineman Glenn January, teammate Teague Sherman and B.C. receiver Emmanuel Arceneaux on Thursday for various infractions.

The CFL fined three players Thursday for their actions during games last week.

The league fined Winnipeg offensive lineman Glenn January for a chop block against Toronto defensive lineman Khalif Mitchell in the Argonauts' 35-19 road win Friday night.

Bombers' defensive back Teague Sherman was also penalized for blocking an opponent below the waist on a kickoff return during the same game.

B.C. receiver Emmanuel Arceneaux was fined for using a prop during a TD celebration in the Lions' 31-21 win over the Edmonton Eskimos on Saturday.

As per league policy, the amounts of the fines were not disclosed.
