- Toronto Argonauts Willie Pile, who played linebacker and safety over five seasons with the CFL club, announced his retirement on Tuesday.

- The Hamilton Tiger-Cats' revamped receiving corps will have more to learn in training camp this summer than new head coach George Cortez's offence. They'll also have to develop a sense of patience.

- Coach Paul LaPolice says the Blue Bombers continue to develop younger players and have increased the depth of their Canadian talent pool since he took over in 2010.
- Blue Bombers set second straight season-ticket record
- Demand for season tickets in the new home of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers has driven sales to a second consecutive record. Bomber president Garth Buchko says sales have topped 22,050 and they haven't even been opened to the general public yet.
- Blue Bombers sign draft pick, deal LB Merrill Johnson
- The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed their third-round pick in the 2012 CFL entry draft and an import receiver Friday. Winnipeg also acquired a sixth round pick in the 2014 draft from Edmonton in exchange for import linebacker Merrill Johnson.
- B.C. Lions sign top pick Jabar Westerman
- The B.C. Lions have signed their 2012 top draft pick Jabar Westerman to a contract, the CFL club announced Monday. But the defending Grey Cup champions will have to do without their other first-round pick, University of Calgary offensive lineman Kirby Fabien, who announced he is returning to the Dinos for a third season.

- Toronto Argonauts offensive tackle Rob Murphy is retiring from pro football. A veteran of six CFL seasons, Murphy says he feels he's accomplished all his goals on the football field.
- Alouettes DT Eric Wilson retires after 8 CFL seasons
- Defensive tackle Eric Wilson announced his retirement Tuesday after eight seasons in the Canadian Football League, including the last five with Montreal.
- Rene Stephan among Blue Bombers' 3 Canadian signings
- The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed three more Canadians including fourth-round draft pick Rene Stephan, a linebacker out of Harding University who was the 23rd pick overall in this year's CFL draft.
- B.C. Lions re-sign non-import receiver Akeem Foster
- The B.C. Lions re-signed non-import receiver Akeem Foster to a contract extension Tuesday. Originally drafted by the Lions 25th overall in 2010, the Ajax, Ont., native has appeared in 24 regular season games for B.C.
- Former Toronto Argonaut Dave Mann dies at 79
- Dave (Super) Mann, one of the most versatile players to ever wear the Toronto Argonauts uniform, has died. He was 79. The two-time East Division all-star died early Tuesday morning from complications due to dementia, the CFL team said Wednesday in a release.
- Davis Sanchez retires after 11-year CFL career
- Veteran defensive back Davis Sanchez has called it a career after 11 CFL seasons, the last two with the B.C. Lions.
- Tiger-Cats sign former Michigan QB Tate Forcier
- Tate Forcier is heading north to pursue a professional football career. The former Michigan quarterback confirmed in a text message to The Associated Press on Monday night that he has signed a three-year contract with Hamilton of the Canadian Football League.
- Alouettes president Ray Lalonde announces he's leaving team
- Montreal Alouettes president Ray Lalonde is leaving the organization for personal reasons, the CFL team announced Friday.
- Riders coach Chamblin names Darian Durant starting QB
- The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed young guns Colt Brennan, J.T. O'Sullivan, Levi Brown and Drew Willy this off-season but they'll be vying for backup duty as Chamblin says veteran Darian Durant remains the starter.
- Eskimos long-snapper Taylor Inglis retires
- Long-snapper Taylor Inglis of the Edmonton Eskimos announced his retirement Thursday. Inglis spent seven seasons in the CFL, including six with Edmonton. He captured a Grey Cup ring with the Eskimos in 2005.
- Alouettes draft second Canadian quarterback Kyle Graves
- The Montreal Alouettes have signed Acadia Axemen quarterback Kyle Graves. It's the second time in as many days the Alouettes have added a Canadian-born quarterback. On Tuesday, the CFL club signed McMaster Marauders star Kyle Quinlan.
- Argos linebacker Ejiro Kuale anxious to start training camp
- Ejiro Kuale is in the final year of his CFL deal and would welcome the chance to return to the NFL in 2013. Kuale said he was too young and immature in 2006 to fully appreciate that opportunity and that Toronto has been a learning lesson for him.
- Quarterback Kyle Quinlan signs with Montreal Alouettes
- The Montreal Alouettes announced Tuesday it had signed McMaster quarterback to a two-year contract. Quinlan, who led the Marauders to their first-ever Vanier Cup title last year, was bypassed in Thursday's CFL draft.

- Although some in Saskatchewan dream of a domed stadium for the Roughriders, the City of Regina says it's leaning toward an open-air facility.

- As expected, the Saskatchewan Roughriders selected offensive lineman Ben Heenan as the top overall pick of the CFL draft on Thursday.
- McMaster's Quinlan leads CFL draft class
- Kyle Quinlan enters the CFL draft sporting one of the finest audition tapes in CIS football history. The McMaster quarterback led the Marauders to a 41-38 win over the defending champion Laval Rouge et Or in a wild Vanier Cup last November.

- The Winnipeg Blue Bombers' new stadium will open by Sept. 21, in time for the team's match against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Bomber brass have announced.
