Toronto Argonauts head coach Bart Andrus called out some of his players for behaving more like pro wrestlers than football players on Saturday, and it looks like the CFL agrees.

The league reportedly handed out fines to Adriano Belli and Lin-J Shell for on-field incidents during the first half of Toronto's 46-36 loss last Saturday to the Saskatchewan Roughriders, according to the Globe and Mail.

Belli, a defensive lineman who's been fined by the CFL on several occasions in the past, was hit this time for administering a head butt and for kneeing a player on a subsequent convert play. Defensive back Lin-J Shell earned a fine for his helmet-on-helmet hit on Riders quarterback Darian Durant.

The resulting unnecessary roughness penalties were three of 17 total penalties taken by the Argos en route to their first loss of the season, moving Toronto to 1-1.

Andrus yanked Belli from the game after the first half. Belli, who's earned a reputation as a dirty player, was fined by the CFL several times while playing with Hamilton and Montreal.
