There was no catchy name for these three guys. Wayne Gretzky and Jari Kurri played with a number of different left wingers, but Esa Tikkanen was the key one who supplied the grit and defence to go with style, scoring and grace. They helped the Edmonton Oilers to 4 Stanley Cup championships in 5 years.
