Eighteen teams will hit the ice Nov. 29 - Dec. 3 at the Waterloo Memorial Recreation Centre in the first of four Grand Slam events on the prestigious World Curling Tour. Defending champion Randy Ferbey will try and hold off such top-calibre rinks as Alberta's Kevin Martin, Quebec's Jean-Michel Menard and Newfoundland & Labrador's Brad Gushue to grab his share of the $100,000 purse.
