Saskatchewan's Jan Betker remains unbeaten through eight draws of the Tournament of Hearts at the Enmax Centre in Lethbridge, Alta.
Betker, a three-time national champion as third for the late Sandra Schmirler, improved to 5-0 in convincing style on Monday.

Betker bounced Suzanne Gaudet of Prince Edward Island 9-5 in the morning draw, then she trounced Ontario's Krista Scharf 10-1 in the afternoon.
Asked where she saw her rink headed, Betker replied: "We're going out. We're going out for supper."
Defending champion Kelly Scott earned her fourth consecutive win by blitzing Nova Scotia's Jill Mouzar 7-2 in seven ends, but Team Canada later fell 7-5 to British Columbia's Kelley Law.
"That was a nice one to win," Law said. "We need to just play every game the same way, [give our] best effort and just go out really confident and be as strong as we can."
Law, from New Westminster, B.C., and Scott, from Kelowna, B.C., share second place with Manitoba's Jennifer Jones and Scharf, who rebounded from the loss to Betker with a 10-6 win over Gaudet in evening play.
"To bounce back and win against a great team, against P.E.I., really helps our confidence," Scharf said.
Jones whipped both her opponents in seven ends to join the pack at 4-1, defeating Heather Strong of Newfoundland and Labrador 7-2 and New Brunswick's Sandy Comeau 10-3.
"It's always nice to have a couple of quick games because it's a long and tiring week," Jones said. "But we wanted to come out and play well today and, if it took us to 10 ends, that would have been OK, too."
Kerry Koe, representing the Northwest Territories and the Yukon, is deadlocked at 2-3 with Alberta's Cheryl Bernard, Quebec's Chantal Osborne and Strong.
Gaudet dropped to 1-4, while Comeau and Mouzar trail the field at 0-5.
The top four rinks at the conclusion of the round-robin advance to the Page playoffs.
CBC Sports will televise Saturday's semifinal (2:30 p.m. ET) and Sunday's championship final (1:30 p.m. ET).
