Scott needed only nine ends to defeat Gaudet and six to beat Bernard.

"It hasn't taken too much of a toll in emotional exhaustion just yet, and that's good," Scott said.

Saskatchewan's Jan Betker posted a 6-5 victory over Kerry Koe of the Northwest Territories/Yukon in the afternoon to remain undefeated.

Ontario's Krista Scharf defeated B.C.'s Kelley Law 7-5 in the afternoon and beat Quebec's Chantal Osborne 9-8 in an 11-end thriller in the evening.

"It's crazy," said Scharf. "It's so awesome winning a game like that. But we can't do this all week."

Team Canada, Saskatchewan and Ontario lead the 12-team field at the Canadian women's curling championship at 3-0.

B.C. and Manitoba (2-1) are close behind in the standings.

Alberta, Quebec, Newfoundland and Labrador, P.E.I. and Northwest Territories/Yukon were all 1-2. Nova Scotia and New Brunswick were 0-3.

The top four teams at the conclusion of the round robin Thursday advance to playoffs. The final is scheduled for Feb. 25 (CBC, 1:30 p.m. ET).
