- Sherry Middaugh stayed alive at curling's Players' Championship with a 6-5 tiebreak win over Heather Nedohin on Friday in Summerside, P.E.I. Middaugh, from Coldwater, Ont., will face Winnipeg's Cathy Overton-Clapham in the semifinal round.
