Canada defeated the Netherlands by four wickets Saturday at an ICC Twenty20 qualifier in Belfast, Ireland.

Canada scored 99 runs (19.3 overs) for six wickets, beating the Netherlands' 97 runs (18.4 overs) all out.   

The Canadians, who next meet Kenya on Sunday, need a win or tie to advance to Monday's semifinal.   

Canada and the Dutch each have two points in Group B while Kenya has no points after losing its first match. The Netherlands upset Kenya by 19 runs to open the tournament.   

Three spots are up for grabs for the World Cup Twenty20 in England next summer.   

Ireland beat Scotland by four wickets in Group A earlier. Bermuda plays both teams on Sunday.
