The Calgary Stampede is a day away. Here's a look at the grounds, the people and the action on the eve of the big show.

The title of World's best horseshoe maker is on the line here. These guys are in the middle of a four-day competition, with $10,000 going to the best blacksmith. Competitors come here from all over the world, including Scotland, England and Australia.

The man in the middle is being 'sworn in' as a cowboy -- at the Calgary airport. Not your usual airport protocol.
