Under an iridescent blue sky in Rustenberg, there is a happy riot of
music and colour and soccer madness.
Outside Royal Bafokeng Stadium, tens of thousands of people are decked out in crazy costumes, draped in flags and as per normal at this World Cup with a buzz, most brandish and blow the ever present vuvuzela's.

In the hours after Nodar Kumaritashvili was killed it was a case of blame the victim. Coaches and officials were quick to pronounce driving error, likely due to inexperience as the cause of the fatal crash.
