Now for some really great news!
It has just been confirmed that during Bold's broadcasts of the 2011 BMO Canadian Figure Skating Championships, Josee Chouinard is going to be on hand with me during all of the skating in all of the disciplines.
Josee is a three-time Canadian champion, two-time Olympian and five-time Canadian professional champion. In other words, she has walked the walk. The conversations have already started offline, and we can't wait to hit the air.
"I am really excited to be coming to Bold and to be watching the skaters live and seeing the drama as it happens," Chouinard said.
With Josee on one side of me, and my computer on the other, I'm ready and waiting to talk to fans on CBC's iAsk live stream and chat presented by Artistry, and to answer questions and comments for either of us anytime by email at pjkwong@pjkwong.com.
Canadians, as it's known, is a big deal. Who better to talk about it than Josee herself?

A television commentator since 2001, the veteran figure skating coach has covered seven of the last nine ISU World Figure Skating Championships, two ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships, several Four Continents and Grand Prix Finals for CBC, CTV, TSN and TBS, to name a few. Fluent in English, French, German and Spanish, Pj has travelled the world as a public address announcer, working at four Olympic Games, two world figure skating championships and several Skate Canada and Canadian national championships.
