Gretzky gets nod as best centre

Best centre, modern era. Say those words out loud at your local drinking establishment and you are bound to get a debate. Mario or Wayne? Hard to say. Both were brilliant with the puck, both could see openings that others didn't know existed and both provided moments of sublime entertainment. But only one can be chosen as the best of the best.

Best of the Best defenceman: The winner

The conversation over who was the best defenceman of the modern era was slanted in one direction.  Everything was pointed to number 4, Bobby Orr.

As part of this discussion we promised to give one of you a copy of the new Hockey Night in Canada book by Scott Morrison called Best of the Best.  The winner is The Torch, and here is part of his winning comment.
