Moore, Leafs miles apart -- trade imminent

Looks like Leaf fans will have to wave goodbye to Dominic Moore. The hard-working forward and the club are $1 million apart in salary per season, killing any contract extension, according to the Toronto Star. With his stock higher than it’s ever been, it looks like he’ll be in another sweater come Wednesday afternoon.

Leafs GM Brian Burke is still unwilling to close the door on an eleventh-hour deal, though,

"It's still too early to say," the he told the paper Monday night.
