Toronto Raptors Basketball on CBC tips off its third season with a marquee matinee matchup against the NBA's Eastern Conference champion Orlando Magic on Sunday, Nov. 1.

CBC Sports' 2009-10 schedule features 10 Raptors games, all presented in high-definition. Two games air in prime time, with the rest on Sunday afternoons.

Elliotte Freidman will host the broadcast, with Raptors play-by-play man Matt Devlin calling the action alongside analyst Leo Rautins. Jack Armstrong joins Friedman for halftime analysis during each telecast.

The Nov. 1 game highlights former Raptors star Vince Carter's first visit to Toronto as a member of the Magic. Carter joins a star-studded Orlando lineup that includes all-stars Dwight Howard, Rashard Lewis and Jameer Nelson.

Also featured on the CBC Sports slate are matinee contests against Steve Nash and the Phoenix Suns on Nov. 29, Chris Paul and the New Orleans Hornets on Dec. 20, and Dirk Nowitzki and the Dallas Mavericks on Jan. 17.

CBC Sports takes its NBA broadcasts to primetime when Gilbert Arenas and the Washington Wizards visit Toronto on Saturday, Feb. 20, and when the Raptors visit Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday, Feb. 28.
