The Toronto Raptors reportedly have landed Italian shooting guard Marco Belinelli from the Golden State Warriors.

Yahoo! Sports reported Wednesday that Belinelli was traded to the Raptors in return for forward Devean George, whom Toronto had picked up in the Hedo Turkoglu trade on July 9.

Belinelli, 23, averaged 8.9 points, 2.1 assists, 1.7 rebounds and 21.0 minutes in 42 games last season, his second in the NBA.

He played sparingly as a rookie, collecting 95 points, 15 assists and 14 rebounds in 33 appearances off the bench.

Belinelli was deemed expendable by the Warriors because of recent acquisitions Speedy Claxton and Acie Law in a trade with the Atlanta Hawks and the drafting of Stephen Curry (seventh overall) on June 25.

Belinelli was selected 18th overall by Golden State in the 2007 NBA draft.

The Toronto Raptors seem to be assembling one of the NBA's more international rosters.
