The Trail Blazers confirmed Wednesday that they acquired the 22nd pick overall from the Dallas Mavericks for the No. 24 selection and two second-round picks.
The Mavericks, who had traded their second-round pick to the Indiana Pacers, received Portland's second-rounder this season — No. 56 overall — and next season.
"You never know when 2nd rd picks can come in handy," Mavericks owner Mark Cuban said in a tweet.
The Trail Blazers still have the 33rd, 38th and 55th picks in Thursday's draft, to be held at New York's Madison Square Garden.
The Toronto Raptors pick ninth overall.
