Chris Bosh of the Toronto Raptors led the team in scoring in Friday's loss. (Frank Gunn/Canadian Press)The Toronto Raptors will look for a positive start to a brutal slate of games this week when they host the Orlando Magic on Sunday afternoon.
Toronto will face Orlando team with a glossy 35-10 record, and then head to Cleveland's building on Tuesday, where the Cavaliers are 22-0, and host Western leaders the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday.
The week concludes with games Friday in New Orleans and the following night in Memphis.
No sweat.
Toronto (19-29) entered its last contest as the winner of three straight, but dropped a crucial game against Milwaukee, which holds down the last playoff spot in the East.
Chris Bosh had 18 points and nine boards in the 96-85 loss, while Andrea Bargnani and Jermaine O'Neal finished with 16 apiece, and Anthony Parker added 12.
Orlando is coming off a 99-88 home victory over Cleveland, the Magic's sixth victory in the last eight games.
Dwight Howard had 22 points and 18 rebounds for the Magic, while Hedo Turkoglu added 19 points and 11 rebounds. Jameer Nelson added 18.
The Magic have an NBA-best 17 wins on the road.
Toronto is just 9-13 at home, but one of the victories was a 104-102 nod over Orlando on Jan. 9.
It was one of the Raptors' gutsiest efforts this NBA season, with O'Neal and Jose Calderon both on the sidelines. Parker poured in a season-high 26 points and Bosh added 23.
