Toronto Raptors centre Jermaine O'Neal was sidelined for Friday's game against the visiting Houston Rockets with a bruised right knee.

This is the second straight game the six-time all-star has missed since injuring his knee Monday at Golden State.

His injured knee is not the same one as the surgically repaired knee that kept him out of 42 games with Indiana last season.

O'Neal is averaging 14.0 points and 7.3 rebounds a game this season, and scored a season-high 36 points in last Friday's 107-101 win at Sacramento.
