The NBA will have a Canadian flavour this pre-season as Montreal and Winnipeg will host exhibition games this October.

The Toronto Raptors will face the New York Knicks Oct. 19 at Montreal's Bell Centre, while the Detroit Pistons take on the Minnesota Timberwolves Oct. 24 at Winnipeg's MTS Centre.

The Raptors and Knicks also played an exhibition game in Montreal in 2010. The MTS Centre hosted a Raptors pre-season game against the Portland Trail Blazers in 2005.

The league has also scheduled four pre-season games in Europe. The Dallas Mavericks will play games in Germany and Spain, and the Boston Celtics will play games in Turkey and Italy.
