Shaquille O'Neal drops puck at Devils-Panthers game

Shaquille O'Neal trotted out to drop the ceremonial puck at the New Jersey Devils-Florida Panthers game wearing an Alexei Ponikarovsky jersey Saturday night.
Who knew Shaquille O'Neal was a hockey fan? ( grab)

What do Alexei Ponikarovsky and Shaquille O'Neal have in common?

Probably not much, which is why it was an interesting sight to see The Big Aristotle wearing a Ponikarovsky jersey when he dropped the ceremonial puck at centre ice Saturday night before the New Jersey Devils hosted the Florida Panthers.

Shaq and his seven-foot-one frame trotted out down the red carpet and dropped the puck to the crowd's delight. Ponikarovsky is currently playing in the KHL while Shaq is a three-time NBA Finals MVP and 15-time NBA All-Star.
