The Oklahoma City Thunder have assigned Lamb to their NBA Development League affiliate in Tulsa.

General manager Sam Presti says Lamb will be in uniform for the 66ers for their game Friday night against Rio Grande Valley. Lamb has appeared in eight games for Oklahoma City this season after being acquired as part of the preseason trade that sent James Harden to Houston. He has averaged 2.1 points in 4.3 minutes, usually playing at the end of games already decided.
The Oklahoma City Thunder have traded Sixth Man of the Year James Harden to the Houston Rockets, breaking up the young core of the Western Conference champions. In return, the Thunder got guards Kevin Martin and Jeremy Lamb, two first-round picks and a second-round pick in the surprising deal that was completed Saturday night. Oklahoma City also sent center Cole Aldrich, and forwards Daequan Cook and Lazar Hayward to Houston. Yahoo! Sports first reported the trade.

Lamb, the No. 12 pick in the draft, helped Connecticut win the 2011 NCAA championship. He led Houston's summer league team in scoring with 20 points per game.
