The Cavs said Eyenga received three stitches in his right pinky toe. He cut his toe on a metal door in the Cavs' locker room before their game Tuesday night against Boston. Eyenga is day-to-day with the injury. Cleveland hosts the Chicago Bulls on Friday.
Eyenga was assigned to Canton on Jan. 4. He played nine games with the Charge, averaging 8.9 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 24.6 minutes per game. Eyenga played one minute for the Cavs before he was assigned to Canton. Coach Byron Scott said Thompson's ankle looked better, but it will be a gametime decision whether he plays on Tuesday in Miami.
Eyenga has played just one minute this season. He started 18 games for Cleveland last season.
