While Harden has established himself as one of the league's best scorers, he could become all the more dominant by taking better care of the basketball. His 285 turnovers rank as the third-most in the NBA. The injured Kobe Bryant has 287 and Philadelphia's Jrue Holiday has 286.
Harden had a game-high 30 but struggled in the fourth quarter, going 0 for 7 in Houston's 82-78 loss to Memphis on Friday.

Harden is still averaging 26.2 points over his last five games but hasn't exactly been operating at peak efficiency, going 36 of 95 from the field over that stretch (37.9 percent).

Harden continues to make a living at the free-throw line, going 13 of 14 in Tuesday's victory. He leads the NBA in free-throw rate, attempting an average of 10.1 shots from the charity stripe each game.
Harden had a rough go on Saturday, hitting 2 of 10 shots for 14 points in the Rockets' 132-114 loss to the Nuggets.

After missing the last two games with an ankle injury, Harden returned on Wednesday and scored 21 points in Houston's 112-102 win over Sacramento.

Harden initially suffered the injury on Feb. 12 and played through the pain before being forced to sit out the last two games. He appeared none the worse for wear on Wednesday, also picking up nine assists in the victory.
