Los Angeles Lakers

Jamison returned Monday night for LA.

Jamison was day to day with a sprained right wrist.

Jamison added 17 points and eight boards in the Los Angeles Lakers' 21st consecutive victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves, 116-94 on Thursday night.

Jamison has scored 13 or more in seven consecutive games.

Jamison matched his second-highest scoring total of the season on Friday by putting up 19 points against the Thunder.

It was the fourth double-double of the season for Jamison, who is seeing more playing time lately as he's regained his health and the Lakers have been hit with multiple injuries to other frontcourt players.

Jamison had 15 points for the second consecutive game while subbing for the injury Pau Gasol in the Lakers' win on Wednesday night.

Jamison is starting to put up some numbers, averaging 18.3 points over his last four games.

Jamison had 15 points and nine rebounds in Tuesday's loss to the Rockets.

Jamison was subbing for an injured Pau Gasol and could start Wednesday in N'Awlins against the Hornets.

Jamison had 19 points and 15 boards in Saturday's 115-89 win over Dallas.

Jamison has 35 points and 22 boards in the last two games.

A person with direct knowledge of the decision says Jamison will sign a one-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers.

The 36-year-old Jamison will sign for the veteran's minimum salary, bolstering the Lakers' bench with scoring and veteran leadership. Jamison also will be reunited with coach Mike Brown, who was in charge of the Cavaliers when Jamison was traded to Cleveland during the 2009-10 season. The Lakers are the fifth NBA team for Jamison, who will begin his 15th pro season in the fall.
