The Chicago Bulls will be without the ailing Luol Deng for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference semifinals on Monday.

Deng will likely sit out his sixth in a row as he recovers from a spinal tap after an illness that left him hospitalized and caused him to lose 15 pounds. He had tried to work out Saturday and wound up vomiting. He attempted to practice on Sunday and became ill during warmups, forcing him to stop.
Deng returned to action and had 16 points in Thursday's 118-111 overtime win over New York.

Deng had missed the previous two games due to a sore hip.
Deng had 28 points and nine rebounds in Sunday's 95-94 win over Detroit.

Deng has averaged a very impressive 27.0 points over the last three games, 10.3 more than his season mark.

Deng continues to struggle while battling mouth pain. He had eight points on 3-of-10 shooting in a 95-86 win over the Nets on Saturday night.

Deng got off to a good start following the All-Star break with 20 points in a 96-87 win over New Orleans on Tuesday night.

Deng had averaged 11.6 points on 32.4 percent shooting in his previous five games.
Deng filled the stat sheet Saturday, posting 25 points and a season-high 14 rebounds in a 93-76 win at Atlanta.

Deng, who shot 10 of 21, also matched season highs with seven assists and four steals. He had averaged 11.3 points on 32.0 percent shooting in his previous four games.
Deng returned to the Chicago Bulls' lineup on Monday night against the Charlotte Bobcats after missing five games with a hamstring injury. Deng, who was recently named to the Eastern Conference All-Star team, is averaging 17.4 points and 6.4 rebounds per game.

The Bulls won three of five without Deng as his absence was eased by the strong play of backup Jimmy Butler. The second-year forward averaged 14.2 points and more than 45 minutes per game starting in Deng's place.
Deng continued his run of up-and-down games, scoring 18 on Monday against Atlanta on 7-of-9 shooting.

One night after scoring a season-high 33 in New York, Deng played poorly in a loss to Phoenix, finishing with 13 points on 5-of-6 shooting.
