Butler played only 9 minutes, 2 seconds of the first half. He missed both shots he attempted and had one rebound with two steals. The Clippers came into the game trailing Memphis by a game for home-court advantage in the playoffs with two games remaining after Saturday night. Butler averages 10.4 points per game for Los Angeles.
Butler is out with a strained left elbow.

Butler was lost to the injury in the third quarter on Sunday in a 102-88 victory over the New York Knicks.
Butler had 12 points in Thursday's 90-77 win at Minnesota after X-rays on his injured foot came back negative.

Coach Vinny Del Negro said before the game that Matt Barnes will start in place of Butler, who was hurt in Los Angeles' 92-87 victory at San Antonio on Monday night. Butler is considered day-to-day.
