The Toronto Raptors signed free-agent centre Greg Stiemsma on Thursday.

The six-foot-11, 260-pound big man averaged 2.9 points and career highs of 4.1 rebounds and 18.3 minutes in 55 games last season with New Orleans.

The former University of Wisconsin star has also played for Minnesota (2012-'13) and Boston (2011-'12). He has appeared in 186 career NBA games, averaging 3.4 points, 3.6 rebounds and 16 minutes per contest.

Stiemsma joins forwards James Johnson and Jordan Hamilton as the Raptors' new free-agent signings this summer. Earlier in the off-season, they re-signed guard Greivis Vasquez, forward Patrick Patterson and star point guard Kyle Lowry.
