The Los Angeles Lakers traded seven-foot centre Chris Mihm to the Memphis Grizzlies for a conditional second-round draft pick on Wednesday.

Mihm, 29, is averaging 2.0 points, 1.9 rebounds and 5.8 minutes in 18 games this season, his eighth in the NBA.

Mihm has averaged 7.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 20.1 minutes in 436 appearances (256 starts) since he was drafted seventh overall by the Chicago Bulls in 2000.

The Bulls promptly traded his negotiating rights to the Cleveland Cavaliers for the rights to Jamal Crawford and cash considerations.

Mihm spent three seasons with the Cavaliers, who shipped him to the Boston Celtics in a six-player blockbuster swap on Dec. 15, 2003.

Los Angeles acquired Mihm, Chucky Atkins and Jumaine Jones from Boston for Gary Payton, Toronto native Rick Fox and a first-round pick on Aug. 13, 2004.

Mihm missed the entire 2006-07 NBA campaign following reconstructive ankle surgery.
