Love it or hate it, the world of Twitter definitely provides an insight into the thoughts and feelings of athletes.
While some might shy away from the spotlight or the post-game interviews, hundreds of pros in every major sports league turn to the social media platform to express their views.
Last night, most of them were baseball players. With many of their season's (or careers) long since over, MLB stars of past and present watched in awe and envy as the St. Louis Cardinals broke the hearts of the Texas Rangers.
It was an improbable comeback to force a World Series Game 7. Here's how some of baseball's best reacted:
