The Toronto Blue Jays open 2013 spring training Feb. 24 against the visiting Baltimore Orioles, who surprised many with a 93-win season in 2012.
Baltimore also has games at Dunedin on March 5 and March 16.
Toronto’s 16-game home slate also includes visits by American League East rivals Boston (Feb. 25, March 22) and the New York Yankees (March 10, 14), along with the reigning league champion Detroit Tigers (March 9).
The Tampa Bay Rays, who also play out of the AL East, visit the Jays March 1.
Canadian first baseman Justin Morneau and the Minnesota Twins will be in Dunedin Feb. 26, while former Blue Jays ace pitcher Roy Halladay and the Philadelphia Phillies battle Toronto on March 2 and March 25.
Other National League teams to visit include Pittsburgh and an Atlanta split squad.
