The struggling Phillies made a series of moves before Thursday's game at Minnesota. Backup infielder Cesar Hernandez, optioned to Lehigh Valley after Wednesday's game, was replaced on the roster by utility man Michael Martinez, who was recalled from the Triple-A club. To fill in on the staff for the absence of Cloyd, left-hander Jake Diekman was recalled from Lehigh Valley.
