Cueto takes a 3-0 record into Sunday's start against Milwaukee, his first since a 6-0 win at Pittsburgh on May 31. He was placed on the DL on June 5 for the second time this season, on both occasions with a strained muscle in his right shoulder.
Cueto struck out six and walked one while improving to 3-0 this season and 13-4 all-time against Pittsburgh.
Cueto yielded one run over seven innings and the bullpen blew the win for him. Baker says he doesn't understand why Cubs pitcher Matt Garza was incensed by Cueto's pitch high over David DeJesus' head.

Cueto strained his right oblique eight pitches into last October's division series against San Francisco. Because he finished the year with an injury, the Reds had the right to block him from playing in the WBC. Cueto was 19-9 with a 2.78 ERA in 33 starts during the regular season
The right-hander pulled muscles in his right side during the first game of the Cincinnati Reds' playoff series against the San Francisco Giants. He left the game in the first inning and never got back on a mound because of the injury, the first to a Reds starter all season.
