Latest Player News

Tulowitzki's three-run home run in the third inning Sunday ended the Colorado Rockies' scoreless streak at 28 innings, two short of the team record. Colorado had five hits the first three innings after totaling three in shutout losses against rookie Shelby Miller and Adam Wainwright.

Tulowitzki hit his eighth homer but just second in 16 games, a drive off the Cardinals' Jaime Garcia that put Colorado ahead 3-0. The slump was the team's longest since a streak of 30 consecutive innings from Sept. 30-Oct. 3, 2010, according to STATS.
