Tulowitzki hit his eighth homer but just second in 16 games, a drive off the Cardinals' Jaime Garcia that put Colorado ahead 3-0. The slump was the team's longest since a streak of 30 consecutive innings from Sept. 30-Oct. 3, 2010, according to STATS.
