Reyes says he is progressing in his rehabilitation from a severely sprained left ankle, and the shortstop looks forward to joining his Toronto Blue Jays teammates on the field before the All-Star break.

Injured while sliding into second base on April 12, Reyes has been rehabbing near his Long Island home and will return with the Blue Jays to Toronto after the weekend series. Reyes says he recently began jogging lightly and has begun hitting soft toss in the last few days.
