Guthrie was tagged for a season-high six runs and eight hits over five innings during Monday's 6-5 loss at Houston.

After opening 5-0 with a 2.28 ERA, Guthrie has now dropped back-to-back starts while compiling an 8.25 ERA. He'll try to bounce back against the Los Angeles Angels this weekend.

Guthrie was finally on the short end Tuesday in a 6-2 loss to the Halos.

Guthrie yielded five runs and 11 hits over seven innings. He held the franchise record for consecutive starts without a loss while winning his previous 10 decisions. It was his first defeat since Aug. 3 last year, when Texas beat him 5-3 at Kansas City. "The streak was because of 25 guys that played well behind me every time I was on the mound, and they really picked me up. That's how a streak like that happens," he said modestly.

Guthrie allowed one earned run in six innings, and the Royals hit a season-high three homers in a 6-2 victory Thursday night.

Facing the Orioles for the first time since they traded him to Colorado in February 2012, Guthrie (5-0) gave up seven hits and three walks while lowering his ERA to 2.28. He's 10-0 since Aug. 8 and has gone a franchise-record 18 straight starts without a loss.

Guthrie continued his strong start to the season by throwing nine shutout innings and allowing four hits and a walk in Kansas City's 2-0 win over Chicago on Saturday.

Guthrie improved to 4-0 with a 2.40 ERA over six starts.

Guthrie struck out five over 6 2-3 innings of six-hit ball as Kansas City beat Cleveland 9-0 in the first game of Sunday's doubleheader.

While Guthrie is 3-0 with a 3.06 ERA, his FIP sits at 5.06. Fantasy owners should be cautious with him going forward.

Guthrie allowed one run over six innings to beat the White Sox 3-1 on Thursday.

Guthrie struck out nine to win his first start of the season.
