Toronto Blue Jays ace Roy Halladay was activated from the disabled list on Sunday, with the expectation he will start the following night against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Halladay went on the disabled list after injuring his groin June 12 against Florida.
The right-hander is 10-1 with a 2.35 earned-run average in 14 starts this season.
Until the aborted outing against the Marlins, Halladay had gone at least seven innings in each of his starts this season, including complete games in his two previous starts.
Halladay is 141-67 with a 3.46 ERA in a major league career spent entirely with Toronto.
