The Toronto Blue Jays have placed outfielder Rajai Davis on the 15-day disabled list after aggravating an ankle injury on Sunday in Anaheim.

Mike McCoy will be brought up from Triple-A Las Vegas but he will not arrive in Seattle until Tuesday, leaving Toronto a man down for their series opener with the Mariners.

Corey Patterson was activated from the 15-day disabled list Monday and will get his first start of the season in center field for the Blue Jays.

Travis Snider moved to center on Sunday night after Davis left the game and would be the backup option if Patterson became injured. Juan Rivera is the only outfielder available off the bench for Toronto.
