Marion Kreiner beat Austrian teammate Heidi Neururer in the parallel giant slalom final Sunday for her first snowboarding World Cup victory in Soelden, Austria.

After crashing in the first run, Neururer started the second run 1.5 seconds behind and could not make up the difference.

"A dream is coming true. I want this feeling more often," said the 26-year-old Kreiner, who lost last season's parallel slalom world championship final to Neururer.

Neururer defeated defending World Cup champion Doresia Krings, also of Austria, in the last 16.

Nicolien Sauerbreij of the Netherlands came in third for the second time this season by beating Carmen Ranigler of Italy.

Alexa Loo of Richmond, B.C., finished 15th while Caroline Calve of Gatineau, Que., was 31st.
