Kershaw finished in 29 minutes 28.6 seconds. Swede Johan Olsson took second in 29:30.9 while teammate Anders Sodergren won the bronze in 29:38.3.
"It was a great day for me today," Kershaw posted on his Twitter account. "I ended up winning the 15km skate. Felt good, it was hard but racing always is. Made up for yesterday!"
Kershaw had struggled with challenging wax conditions in Saturday's classic sprint and was a disappointing fifth in his quarter-final.
Alex Harvey of St. Ferreol, Que., finished 14th Sunday while Graham Nishikawa of Whitehorse was 15th.
