2 World Cup medals for Canada's swimmers

Brent Hayden is getting better all the time, breaking his Canadian record again in the men's 100-metre freestyle on Tuesday in Stockholm en route to a World Cup silver medal.
Hayden finished in 45.75 seconds at the third stop on the FINA World Cup swimming circuit. The Vancouver native eclipsed the 46.14 mark he established in Moscow on Friday.
Hometown favourite Stefan Nystrand won the race in 45.54 seconds, with Danila Izotov of Russia third.
Alexandra Gabor of Whitehorse captured bronze in the women’s 200 freestyle with a time of 1:55.06.
France's Coralie Balmy of France was the winner in 1:53.71 with Hanna-Maria Seppala of Finland in second place.
The result continues an impressive year for the 16-year-old Gabor, who competed at the World Aquatic Championships in Rome in the summer and won two gold at the Canada Games, the first ever for the Yukon at the competition.
There were two other Top 10 finishes for the Canadian team, which has sent 11 swimmers to the meet.
Blake Worsley of Victoria finished eighth in the 400-metre freestyle in 3:45.35 seconds, and Tanya Hunks of Vancouver placed 10th in the 200-metre individual medley.
There were three world records set at the competition on Tuesday:
- Brazilian Kaio Almeida broke the 200-metre butterfly mark with a time of one minute, 49.11 seconds.
- Felicity Galvez of Australia touched in 55.46 seconds in the final of the the women's 100-metre butterfly for a new world record.
- Jing Zhao of China set records in the semi-final and the final of the women's 50-metre backstroke. She finished in 25.82 seconds in the final to set the new world standard.
