Sarah Conrad of Halifax won bronze in halfpipe snowboarding at the last World Cup event of the season in Italy on Saturday.
"It feels very good to be on the podium again. The pipe was pretty good and consistent, although it was smaller than what we are used to. I was riding pretty well in practice," she said.
Mercedes Nicoll of Whistler, B.C., finished in fifth place.
China's Jiayu Lui won the gold medal and took the overall World Cup title. Holly Crawford of Australia won the silver.
Montreal's Dominique Vallee finished Saturday's competition in 10th place while Alexandra Duckworth of Kinsgburg, N.S., was 21st.
On the men's side, France's Gary Zebrowski won gold. Ryan Rausch of Whistler, B.C., was the top Canadian, finishing in 22nd spot. Japan's Ryoh Aono captured the overall title.
