Hockey Night in Canada 's Ron MacLean will be among the broadcast hosts during CBC's coverage of this summer's Beijing Olympics.

The CBC unveiled Thursday its broadcast team of hosts for the Summer Games. MacLean, a nine-time Gemini Award winner, will host the public broadcaster's prime-time show, Olympic Prime (6 p.m. to 12 a.m. ET).

Other hosts include CBC Sports' Scott Russell, and Ian Hanomansing and Diana Swain of CBC News.

"Ron, Ian, Scott and Diana have established themselves as some of the best, most credible broadcasters in the country, and they are renowned for their talent, professionalism, knowledge and experience. CBC is committed to bringing Canadians the most informative, entertaining coverage of the Olympic Games in Beijing, and our team of hosts will play a big role in providing coverage that is second to none."

MacLean has hosted eight Olympic Games on CBC and made his Olympic debut during the 1988 Summer Games in Seoul, South Korea. His work as an Olympic broadcaster has been recognized with two Gemini Awards and four Gemini nominations.

Hanomansing will host Olympic Pacific Prime (9 p.m. to midnight PT, midnight to 3 a.m. ET) during the Beijing Games, while Russell and Swain will team up on Olympic Morning (3 a.m. to 9 a.m. PT, 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET).

The Summer Olympics run from Aug. 8-24.
