The scene in Nashville when the clock hit 9.2 seconds - when David Legwand scored his empty-net goal - was distinctly Nashville. Fans pelted the ice with yellow towels, one even threw a catfish. It was the first time in Predators history that the team had advanced into the second round of the playoffs.

In the locker room, the scene was more subdued.

If Anaheim looks like a more rested team in Wednesday night's Game 4, they have Lady Gaga to thank.

The pop artist held a concert at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Tuesday night, giving the Predators-Ducks series an extra off day. The Predators didn't really take the bait in regards to firing back at Bob Murray's rant about diving in the series. But they did sound a little perplexed as to the type of game Murray was watching.

"I think it's more disrespectful to the players that are playing in the league," Nashville coach Barry Trotz said. "Other than that, I really don't have any comment."

Anaheim general manager Bob Murray clearly doesn't like the way this series has been officiated. The Ducks have had 12 power plays to Nashville's 16. While this does jibe with the regular season numbers, Murray believes the referees should look harder at how the Predators are drawing the Ducks' penalties.
