Beginning of Story Content

Hockey Night in Canada commentator P.J. Stock figures players like Jarome Iginla, Stephen Weiss, Mikhail Grabovski and Valtteri Filppula will be looking to impress their new teams early on.

The lovely folks here at CBC Sports want me to enter the Hockey Night in Canada Fantasy Pool presented by Kia... but they won't let me win the car!

Nonetheless, if I do win, they're letting me keep the pine tree air freshener.

It's simple. It's free. And you can win a car, so we go!

It's tough picking players early on because you aren't sure who is going to play on what line and with whom.

You do know No. 87 (Sidney Crosby) is playing. I stole him.

As for the rest of my team, I'm betting Stephen Weiss (Red Wings), Jarome Iginla (Bruins), Mikhail Grabovski (Capitals) and Valtteri Filppula (Lightning) all are looking to impress their new teams early on.

I put Jonathan Quick (Kings) and Jimmy Howard (Red Wings) between the pipes.

As for the rest? Follow my lead on Twitter @PJStockHNIC.

I'm going to update every week,so keep coming back.
