There is a reason Jonathan Quick is considered by many to be the best goaltender on the planet. The reigning Conn Smythe Trophy winner drove that point home again Tuesday night as his defending Stanley Cup champion Kings faced the Chicago Blackhawks in a critical Game 3 battle in Los Angeles.

Clinging on to a 2-1 lead, Blackhawks forward Bryan Bickell, who already scored, had the equalizer in his sights with a little more than three minutes remaining.

Bickell bounced on the rebound in front but was robbed at the last second when Quick stuck out his right arm at the last second to deny the hot Chicago winger.

The Kings would go on to win 3-1, cutting the Blackhawks' Western Conference series lead to 2-1.

This isn't the first time Quick has saved the day in these playoffs (see his Game 7 stop on Sharks forward Joe Pavelski here).
