Beginning of Story Content

Edmonton Oilers forward Sam Gagner got credit for a flukey goal just after the midway point of the third period against the Minnesota Wild on Sunday.
Sam Gagner didn't expect to be involved in a game of pinball when he took to the ice for the Edmonton Oilers on Sunday, but he scored in a way that would probably make arcade regulars salivate.

The Oilers forward got credit for a flukey goal just after the midway point of the third period of his team's 4-2 loss to the Minnesota Wild.

Minnesota forward Mikko Koivu was trying to clear the puck when he hit Gagner's leg behind the net. The puck deflected off his skate and somehow found its way to Wild defenceman Ryan Suter, who was stationed in front of his net.

With another bounce, the puck found its way past an unlucky Niklas Backstrom.
