Montreal Canadiens defenceman Andrei Markov snapped a two-year goal drought against the Florida Panthers.
Injuries have limited Montreal Canadiens defenceman Andrei Markov for the better part of three seasons, but that didn't seem to matter on Tuesday night against the Florida Panthers.

Markov snapped a two-year goal drought on an opening-period power play, his first since Nov. 9, 2010 against Vancouver.

He didn't stop there. With Montreal on the power player in the second, Markov blasted another goal past Panthers goalie Scott Clemmensen.

Markov hadn't put together a multiple-goal performance since scoring twice against the New York Islanders on Dec. 19, 2009.
