Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand's strong start to the season continued with a masterful individual effort against the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday night.
Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand's impressive start to the season continued with a masterful individual effort against the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday night.

The 24-year-old swooped in on the side boards in the second period, cut in front of the net and embarrassed Sabres defenceman Tyler Myers with a dangle and out-waited goalie Ryan Miller to score his fourth of the season.

He'd later add his fifth of the year, but Thomas Vanek's five-point night was too much and Buffalo got the last laugh in a 7-4 win

But, we'd like to know where you think Marchand's marker ranks so far? Goal of the year candidate? Overrated? Tell us in the comments section below.
